Founder & President
Xin Liu
Xin founded and has led Enlight Foundation since 2004. Xin’s philanthropy is motivated by her optimism and deep conviction that young people must be empowered to lead the way to a more sustainable future. Prior to Enlight Foundation, Xin was an award-winning journalist and photojournalist whose work has been published both in the United States and China. More recently, she published two books in China: At the Still Point of the Turning World and Become One With the Dust. Most recently, she was awarded “Outstanding Asian American Women Who Dared”. Xin holds an MA in Visual Communication from Ohio University, and a BA in Journalism from Renmin University in China.

Lindsay Louie
In partnership with Xin Liu, Lindsay oversees all aspects of the foundation. Lindsay is a seasoned social sector leader. She served as Executive Director of the Lemala Fund; Program Director of Fund for Shared Insight; Program Officer at the William and Flora Hewlett Foundation; Executive Director of the Silicon Valley Venture Fund (SV2), and head of business development for Goodwill Industries of San Francisco Bay Area. She has consulted to a diverse array of foundations across the US on grantmaking, effective philanthropic practice, listening and feedback, and more. Lindsay holds an MBA from the Stanford Graduate School of Business, and an MA in Sociology, an MA in Education, and a BA in Human Biology from Stanford University.

Director of Programs
Linda Wang
Linda works closely with Enlight Foundation’s partners to scale up social solutions and amply impact through collaborations. Prior to joining Enlight, Linda worked as product manager for more than 10 years in silicon valley, driving product development from concept to market. She launched innovative search products globally at Yahoo and created award winning TV experiences at TiVo. As a parent, she helped to establish Imagination Lab School in Palo Alto and volunteered as team manager at Silicon Valley Basketball Club. Linda holds an MBA from Georgia Institute of Technology, and BA in Electrical Engineering from Tsinghua University in China.
